2010: Year of the Tiger

Chúc Mừng Năm Mới! 恭喜发财! To anyone who celebrates Lunar New Year*.

I'm half-Vietnamese, so this is a very special holiday for me. Normally I would drawing something for new year, but because of my Photoshop III class and the old photos I have of the dragon dancing, I decided to make a New Year's Image with photos.

_{*I have to do this little rant because it is not only the Chinese who celebrate Lunar New Year. Yes, it is most commonly known as Chinese New Year, but that is not the correct term. The correct term is Lunar New Year. Or Tết in Vietnamese. I have nothing against the Chinese. One of my best friends is Chinese; I just do not appreciate people constantly calling it Chinese New Year when the Chinese are not the only who celebrates Lunar New Year.}
