The inspiration for this drawing once again goes to *JewelOfSong/*SkyWarrior108 with her Avatar: the Last Airbender fan fic Destiny Altered.

Continuous Life is the final chapter of Destiny Altered


Before I read Destiny Altered and another Azutara fan fic I found on dA, I've always wanted to see Momo on Azula's shoulder. I was happy to read in Destiny Altered that Momo did jump on Azula's shoulder even if it was to take a closer look at the startled baby Turtle-Duck.

This is an oddly cute scene for everybody's favorite genocidal monarch. :XD: Momo on Azula's shoulder is an interesting idea, and it seems not even she can resist his chipper personality. (I know it's AU, but still...)

One small issue I have is with Azula's mouth; it's broken up into two shorter lines, so I can't really tell what her expression is (smiling?) I also think her shoulders seem a bit too wide. With Momo, the only real issue I can find is that the "thumb" of his paw seems bent a bit oddly. Everything else about this picture seems basically fine, though: it's fairly simple, but in a calm and peaceful sort of way that sets the mood well.

Thank you. I love her smile to =D. I imagine this is how Azula would be if Ursa treated both Azula and Zuko equally. (Though read the story this drawing is based off too)

Well this is when she comes out of the asylum =D. But even before she went crazy in the series I always wanted this to happen =D

And it's Momo so of course he's a lucky winged lemur since he's the last of his kind.
